Bondek® Plus Sutures
Enhanced softness and lubricity make Bondek® Plus an ideal choice for cosmetic and general surgery. Made of Polyglycolic acid (PGA) with a Polycaprolactone copolyglycolic acid coating.
Characteristics: Bondek® Plus suture offers outstanding smoothness, lubricity, and knotability. The suture has high initial tensile strength during the critical wound healing period; then it breaks down evenly and predictably, reducing painful “spitting”.
Indications: Bondek® Plus is cleared by the FDA for use is general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic procedures, but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological procedures.
