OPENAIR™ Atmospheric Plasma Surface Treatment

No reviews yet · Write a Review
A safe, effective surface treatment process based on atmospheric plasma created from air and electricity. The process microcleans the surfaces of all materials, removing dust and static. With polymers, it then increases the surface energy allowing for significantly improved bonding. Quite often this is possible even with low/no solvent 'Green' adhesives and paints without the use of a primer.

Treatment of electrically sensitive equipment such as populated circuit boards is not a problem, as the plasma the plasma can be made voltage-free. It can also be used to clean the surfaces of medical implants or clean-room materials and is one of the few techniques known to also eliminate endotoxins from a surface.

Using only air and a small amount of electricity, Plasmatreat provides a powerful surface treatment method that can be implemented inline at high speeds in new or existing processes.
