Product Overview
Wearable Medical Device Development
Engineering for medical and wellness wearables: wrist monitors with cuff blood pressure, skin-worn patches, glucose monitoring patches, knee and gait monitors, neuromuscular stimulators and remote patient monitoring devices. We handle low-power electronics, sensor front ends (ECG, SpO2, IMU), BLE and cellular connectivity, battery life, skin-contact materials under ISO 10993, enclosures and firmware, through to design for manufacturing.
Wearables made up about 30% of our ongoing projects in mid-2026. Examples: a glucose monitoring patch for a pharma company, 11,600 engineering hours over eight phases to a clinical-ready prototype that's now in clinical trials; a wrist remote patient monitor with five vitals on one wrist; a wearable controller for a sensory-restoration neural implant, where jitter rather than latency set the architecture.
ISO 13485:2016 certified quality system; $125 per hour.
