ArgoMed® Polyurethane Medical Films
SWM (formerly Argotec LLC) ArgoMed® thermoplastic polyurethane film & sheet are used in barrier and inflatable medical applications. Available in thicknesses of 0.6-125 mils and widths up to 86 inches, ArgoMed films can be extruded on paper, polyester or polyethylene carriers for ease of handling or as a component of the final application.
ArgoMedPLUS® TPU Film-on-Paper is a specialty product designed especially for use in kiss-cut film dressing and surgical drape applications. An aromatic polyether TPU, this film is available in 1-mil thickness and 60-inch width. The special paper backing provides just the right peel (release) properties for use in kiss-cutting of windows in frame-type dressings and drapes. Medical supply retailer/distributors, tape converters and adhesive coaters now have a film-on-paper alternative to choose for the manufacture of these widely used wound care dressings and drapes.
