With electrode diameters from 0.010" to 0.090", finished hole sizes from 0.012"–0.015" up to 0.121"–0.126", and thickness capacity up to 9" (and certain parts up to 14"), we support everything from a single prototype to 100,000+ production parts. Our high-speed EDM drilling machines (Charmilles, Sodick, Current, Belmont), including oil-based systems ideal for carbide, enable burr-free, accurate holes for applications such as coolant holes in cutting tools, wire EDM start holes, removal of broken drill bits/taps, and holes too small or difficult for conventional drilling.
