The most widely used assembly methods at PCI are the heat staking or ultrasonic inserting of threaded inserts, or the addition of o-rings prior to assembly. Plastic components can be attached to each other by hand for delicate areas, or with automation, depending on the part geometry and complexity built into the areas being assembled together.
