Mazak INTEGREX i-150
The INTEGREX i-150 Multi-Tasking center offers extreme versatility and accuracy for manufacturers of small, complex medical components.
The INTEGREX i-150’s configuration features a single, horizontal turning spindle with 15 hp and 5,000 rpm for turning and C-axis control. The 6" through-hole chuck provides bar capacity of 2.56”. A powerful 10 hp, 12,000 rpm milling spindle is mounted in the vertical rotating B-axis with a range of -10° to +190°. The machine can also be equipped with an optional 20,000 rpm spindle, for high-speed machining and superior surface finishes.
For a compact Multi-Tasking center, INTEGREX i-150 boasts an impressive Y-axis range of ±3.94”. X-axis travel is 14.57” and Z-axis travel is 17.13”, while maximum swing is 15.75”.
Integral to the INTEGREX i-150 is a multi-purpose part-handling device, which can index to an NC tailstock for shaft turning or a vise for holding the workpiece during multi-face operations. An unloader provides automatic part removal. Equipped with an automatic bar feeder, unattended machining can be performed over long periods.
Mazak’s unique roller cam drive for the rotating B-axis contributes to the i-150's high accuracy. It features rigidity and no backlash while reducing friction. The turning and milling spindles use temperature-controlled circulated oil to enhance thermal stability. The milling spindle is also monitored for heat, vibration and displacement through the Intelligent Performance Spindle (IPS) module.
