Sensor Wires
Sandvik Palm Coast manufactures precision wire for medical sensor applications. Medical sensor applications demand specific material properties, both in the wire and the coating. The Sandvik program offers a wide range of wire material grades with coatings such as Polyimide, Polyamide, and PTFE. Key product features of the Sandvik range are small diameters (around 0.001") and a wide choice of polymer coatings, offered either as standard, or custom coated to precise requirements and specifications. Extremely thin coatings – 0.0004" is common – can be customized to customers exact requirements. Single conductor, or multifilar configuartions can be made.
