DaVINCI Biomedical Research performs a large array of mechanical testing, using our Instron System. Our engineers have a large amount of exposure to various tissue types and applications, working directly in the CRO preclinical animal facility, making us distinguishable from an engineering group lacking this. Access to tissues shortly after harvest provides the best opportunity for analysis, minimizing variables or affects of tissue degeneration or preservation and allowing us to observe and work with tissues closer to their original state.

Our experience and expertise covers a variety of tissues: cardiac, vascular, muscle, tendon, dermal & connective, and bone; also encompassing a wide range of materials and applications applied to these tissues directly or indirectly. DaVINCI has over 60 years of combined engineering expertise that supports our testing, analysis, and the development of unique testing applications. Our state-of-the-art facility has a machine shop, providing our engineerings the ability to design and create fixtures and devices for preparation and testing. Engineering services can be performed as GLP and non-GLP, with quality oversight by our in-house Quality Control Manager.

DaVINCI's engineering services include: compression, tension, torsion, penetration, strength, and the novel ability to perform in vivo strength testing (developed directly by DaVINCI) in specific applications.
