CRD500 3-Jaw Expander
Clean Room Devices supplies tubing-processing equipment such as the 3-Jaw Expander, which allows larger barbed fittings to be installed in tubing, with the inserted fitting being scooped off of the jaws in one easy motion. A controlled internal expanding operation of three jaws will spread the tubing up to 1 inch wider, depending on tubing. The robust air cylinders that perform the expanding operation are actuated by a foot pedal. After expansion, a secure fit is formed as the tubing rebounds to its original size.
