Swiss Steel USA is a leading supplier of high-quality Tooling materials, Custom Vacuum Heat Treatment, value added CNC machining services, and Technical Support. Operating out of their Carol Stream, Illinois location serving the Plastics, Die Casting, and Tooling industries. All products manufactured by our company owned mills Finkl Steel, USA and Deutsche Edelstahlwerke Specialty Steel GmbH & Co. KG (DEW) Germany. Since the late 1970’s the company has been active in the distribution of Tool Steels for the US market. In 2004 the former ThyssenKrupp Specialty Steels was acquired by the Swiss Steel Group. Today, the activities of Swiss Steel USA are focused on providing the highest quality Tool Steels, Stainless Steels, and Engineering Steels from or own mills incl. Ugitech and Steeltec. Operational since 1978, the Carol Stream location (HQ) serves the entire US market and includes a Sales Office and a Service Center with Tool Steel processing and distribution. The primary processing activities include saw cutting and machining services. Our Territory Managers are available to provide comprehensive sales and technical support to our valued customers.
