About Lambda Technologies

Lambda Research operates a world-class laboratory, and is the preeminent source of residual stress analysis worldwide. Lambda has been providing accurate and reliable x-ray diffraction material testing services for aerospace, automotive, nuclear, medical, power generation, railway, defense and other industries since 1977. Lambda also provides unique finite element (FE) and mechanical methods for the study of residual stress formation. Lambda also offers a broad array of x-ray diffraction and fluorescence testing capabilities for materials applications, primarily in the areas of qualitative and quantitative phase analysis, and texture determination. Process optimization and surface integrity studies can be performed to determine the manufacturing parameters required for optimal fatigue properties and stress corrosion characteristics. Our fully equipped fatigue lab with six high cycle fatigue machines, and machine shop with modern CNC machines, supports the surface integrity studies.
