Petrolab Company offers the Petrotest® PNR 12 Penetrometer that utilizes a fully automatic surface detection system. The instrument offers two surface detection technologies—force measurement and conductivity—that can be used together or independently to precisely position the test probe, depending upon the test. The PNR 12 is used for dozens of penetration applications within the pharmaceutical industry. The PNR 12 digitally displays test conditions and measurement results with 1/100 mm resolution. Other features of the PNR 12 include a new Jog-Shuttle driven menu (turn & push), audible and visual alarms to indicate when test results are outside user-programmed limits, magnification lens and selectable start delay.
