Elastocon OF (oil-free) TPE Series

Our new Elastocon OF (oil-free) TPE Series of thermoplastic elastomers were developed for applications that require oil/plasticizer-free, high strength properties and a reduced coefficient of friction. These thermoplastic elastomer grades are well suited for consumer goods and industrial applications requiring U.V. stability. They can also be overmolded onto polypropylene. The new Elastocon OF TPE grades are latex and phthalate-free and the natural OF65 is FDA compliant. These thermoplastic elastomer grades offer a great alternative to silicone and PVC and are therefore well suited for both medical and consumer products. The new Elastocon OF Series of TPEs provide the following benefits:

• Oil-free*, high resilience and strength (an excellent replacement for silicone (Phthalate-free)
• Easy to process; no drying required (can be injection molded or extruded)
• Can be overmolded onto polypropylene (PP)
• High tensile and tear strength and odorless
