We make the largest, most complete line of high-performance coatings for various markets including the industrial, petrochemical, automotive, ACE, aeronautics, marine, food processing, electrical, medical, etc. These XYLAN coatings solve many problems including corrosion, abrasion, lubrication, decoration, high-temperature, friction, insulation, release, etc.

    In 2006, Whitford purchased Alpha, a manufacturer and applicator of low-friction coatings designed to improve the performance of any flexible substrate. Alpha applies these coatings to automotive sealing systems tackling problems of "itch and squeak", weathering, abrasion, etc. Alpha formulates their own line of coatings, RESILON, that allow for improved processing and performance for the automotive industry.
