SDA10D Robot
Motoman Robotics' SDA10D (slim, dual-arm) robot can perform a myriad of assembly, handling, machine tending packaging and part transfer applications. It features 15 axes of motion (7-axes per arm, plus a single axis for base rotation). Both arms can work on one task to double the payload or handle heavy parts. The ability to use dual independent arms reduces the need for expensive custom fixturing and allows end-of-arm tooling to be less costly. The SDA10D has a 10-kg (22.1-lb) payload per arm, 720 mm (28.3”) horizontal reach and 1,440 mm (56.7”) vertical reach per arm. Repeatability is ±0.1 mm (0.004”).
