The FB series high performance temperature/process controller has an accuracy of 0.1%. The operator can select from autotuning, advanced autotuning, or a more advanced Brilliant II autotuning feature to allow selectable PID control. A special start-up tuning feature calculates optimum PID values and eliminates time that conventional autotuning requires at start-up. Sampling time can also be selected as 50ms,100ms, or 250ms,depending on the application.

The series has universal input, up to 7 digital inputs, 4 digital outputs, and 2 communications ports so that one port can be dedicated to intercontroller communication. A remote setpoint input and a multi-memory area is standard. As many as 8 sets of parameters can be stored in the multi-memory area and may be set through front key operation, DI, or communications. The multi-memory area can create up to 16 segments of ramp/soak control. Available as a 1/4 DIN,1/16 DIN 1/8 DIN x 60 mm deep panel saving short case with NEMA4X and IP66 waterproof and dustproof protection. It provides a 5-digit display in a 20mm height and a front panel settable bar graph display. The internal assembly removes from the front for easy maintenance.

A loader port permits communication with a PC using its USB port. Win-UCI software is provided for easy data monitoring/logging in setting control parameters or copying parameters to another FB series controller via PC. Communication capabilities include RS-232C, RS-422A, RS-485 and Modbus.
