Sonics' 15 kHz ultrasonic welding equipment is designed for welding medium to large-size parts at higher amplitudes and lower frequency. Plastics assembly at the 15 kHz frequency permits the welding of many softer plastics with greater far field distances than is possible with conventional 20 kHz systems. A complete 15 kHz system is comprised of a welder and a power supply best suited to your application(s). Press features front-panel pneumatic speed controls; in-line air cylinder; motorized head height adjustment; and single-piece cast aluminum base.
