Self-Contained Biological Indicator (SCBI)
NAMSA offers Self-Contained Biological Indicators (SCBI) for monitoring steam, Ethylene Oxide and Hydrogen Peroxide sterilization processes. Each SCBI unit consists of a vial with cap, a crushable glass ampule with recovery media, and a disc inoculated with spores.
NAMSA SCBIs offer a reduced incubation period of 24 to 48 hours compared to seven (7) days for a traditional Biological Indicator spore strip.
NAMSA SCBIs are offered in boxes of 50 units.
