Silk™ ultimate adhesive systems from MACtac® Medical Products offer solutions for a range of adhesive levels – Soft Touch, General Purpose and Extra Strength – ideal for sensitive skin, short-term applications and extended-wear applications. The various adhesive strength levels provide flexibility, allowing for customization to meet exact specifications for tack, peel, shear, skin adhesion and adhesion build.

Silk delivers high shear strength without sacrificing initial tack and peel. Each adhesive solution removes cleanly and gently from skin without residue or skin trauma. Designed to increase patient comfort and care while preserving quality, Silk meets requirements to adhere to skin and is made from latex-free materials.

Silk ultimate adhesives are intended for applications such as pediatric ECG, IV securement, TENS electrodes, electrosurgical grounding pad, and wound closure. It is available as a single-coated, double-coated or combined substrate.
